My Admirable Person by Katie Murphy Neigh! Say the horses at Crooked Creek Trails. Hello my name is Katie Murphy and I'm going to tell you about my admirable person. My admirable person is my dad. His name is John Riley or (Luke Riley). He owns and operates Crooked Creek Trails Horseback Riding Stables. I've known him since I was born. He met my mom when she was five months pregnant with me. He changed my life. My dad and I both work at the riding stable in Logansport. He is very strong. He has a heart like a baby. He is the biggest loving dad I have ever had. He never gives up on anything. He has the daring courage of a tiger. He does have suspicions though. His uncertainties are deep water and snakes. He helps anybody. He is a very pleasant person. My dad is very helpful. People who don't know anything about horses he teaches them everything no matter how long it takes. One time he had no horses left to sell, but his own. So he sold his horse Buck. Eventually he got a new one but he loved Buck so much. He is still like that today. He gives everything to others that really need it. He dislikes seeing anybody angry, cheerless, or irritated. One time at the ranch I was working and I took a girl riding. She was about sixteen and she didn't tell me she was riding a new horse. Well she got bucked off and my dad paid for her hospital bill. He paid for everything. Well my dad taught me how to ride when I was 3yrs old. He first taught me how to ride with out a saddle. He taught me my balance first. I didn't ride with a saddle until I was nine years old believe it or not. I'm starting to learn trick riding now. Now I can ride bareback, saddle and backwards. Well when I grow up I want to be just like him. I want to own the ranch. Well I'm a thirteen-year-old girl with a lot to learn from my awesome dad. Close this Window
