As a
horse owner, you have no doubt discovered that horses are amazing
creatures. They are graceful, beautiful and elegant, while at the same
time strong and powerful. They are wild creatures that will gladly
give us their hearts and welcome us into their lives. They connect us
with nature while providing companionship in a dignified, quiet way that
no other animal can provide. As a horse owner we have learned that
spending time with our horse is quality time away from the stress of
everyday life. A chance to rediscover the simpler things, as we
foster that special bond that only exists between an horse and its
owner. We understand that your horse is like family, and as
such, it deserves to live at a facility where it will receive the right
care by an experienced team of horse professionals.
"With this in
mind, we realize that every horse boarded at Crooked Creek is a part of somebody's family, Therefore, we care for every one
of our boarded horses as if they were a part of our family."

When you board your horse at Crooked creek, you and
your horse can enjoy access to over 200 acres of native Indiana forest,
with 80 of those acres set aside for the exclusive use of our boarders.
We maintain over 8 miles of improved trails, plus many more "unimproved"
trails for our more experienced riders. A creek winds through our
property offering over a mile of creek bed for you and your horse
to explore and play in. Our trails wind through our totally
natural property that features everything from rolling hills and native
Indiana woodlands to flat, open pasture areas. Wild Turkeys, deer and
other native wildlife are abundant throughout our property as well.
When
you board with us, your horse will generally be stalled. Each stall has it's own
attached turn-out. If you would rather not have your horse stalled, we do have a
few fenced paddocks with a lean-to in them for shelter.
Our boarding fee
is $235.00 dollars per month. This fee includes includes hay, grain and fresh water twice
daily. We have several arenas and round pens available for you to
"work" your horse, as well as a large pasture if you'd like to turn out your
horse. The owner of the horse is responsible for cleaning out their own stall(s) on a weekly basis.

We offer on-site Ferrier service and a local vet who
makes stable calls. The vet makes routine visits, and is available in
case of an emergency. (Ferrier and vet services are not included in the price of boarding.)
